Insecticides and the fate of small children

July 17th, 2013

I watched the news in disbelief this morning, that several children have died due to the possible contamination of the food served at school in India. It is said that the food served was contaminated with insecticides.

Several more are now sick and or fighting for their life. This is very sad.

We are in need of understanding that all of our food that is produced commercially may be tainted with insecticides, pesticides, herbicides and more. We are feeding our children imported and locally produced foods with little thought about how the food was grown and how the food was treated before it gets to our table.

We are in need of small crop farm production and organic farming as soon as possible. What is the difference if you and your children consume too much insecticide all at once or over a period of years?”

Think about where your food comes from and help the need for local and organic be a part of our future food.
