Bumble Bee’s

June 16th, 2014

The Bumble Bee is one of the most beautiful bee’s that we have visiting our backyard garden these days. Nicoletta is out taking pictures almost every day to capture the gardens progress. She caught this beauty on our chives and wanted me to share it with you.

Gardens are magical places where the food we grow heavily relies on on pollination, organic soil, organic fertilizers, clean air, unpolluted rain that keeps producing the purest food for us year after year. It amazes me how fast globally we have been able to upset the way we grow food today by use of GMO’s, and the trouble with toxic chemicals used to treat food that is not really real.

Food labeling is important I agree, however if we give the right to add GMO’s on the food labels, does this mean it is ok? Not many people are in touch with the ramifications of GMO food production and how it harms our bee’s and butterflies let alone what it is doing to us and our children. Food allergies, food sensitivities, and gastro issues and food intolerance’s to wheat, soy and corn. GMO food production should be banned. Simple.

Nicoletta is on of millions of children who rely on us to take care of them wholeheartedly. It starts with going back to the way things used to be, small Organic food production, support for local food and the right to have our food grown with a conscience.

Get the kids in touch with their food, how easy it is to grow and how quickly a plant produces food “right in your own backyard!”
